I grew up in Ajman, UAE, and moved to Canada at 18. Since then, I’ve studied computer information systems, built a career in IT, and made British Columbia home.
My first post, published in December 2024, introduces that journey and why I wanted a place of my own on the web.
What I’m writing
Systems, technology, work, immigration, and the process of building a life in Canada. The writing is a way to share my experiences and connect with people who recognize something in them. Read the writing.
Things I’m making
In September 2026, I rebuilt this website and recovered the original 2024 post. I wrote about the rebuild and learning how the pieces fit together.
I’m interested in tools that make the next step clearer: what we know, what to try, what could go wrong, and how to check whether the work helped.
Ticket X-Ray helps organize a troubleshooting path. Change Plan helps prepare scope, recovery and validation before a technical change. Both are public experiments that I’m continuing to learn from.
